Harvesting Sun Gold Tomatoes and Finding Frogs

I believe this frog is a Northern Leopard Frog. This is one of the many, many frogs Makana caught this season!

How to Identify: 2 - 3 1/2 in. (5.1-8.9 cm); green or brown; rounded spots with light borders; light stripe on upper lip; ridges on its back which extends to groin.

Habitat: Lakes, streams, rivers, ponds; often far from standing water. (This is why it's sometimes called the meadow frog.)

Makana LOVES to pick and eat tomatoes! She and Jim do it quite frequently. This day, Katie and Keely helped out! Katie and Li don't eat the tomatoes, but they do enjoy picking them! You can see there was a huge bucketfull!
